Our Eco-Friendly Promise

Made from renewable resources. Biodegradable by nature. Better for our planet.

The Material

What is PLA?

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a revolutionary bio-plastic made from renewable resources like corn starch, sugarcane, and other plant-based materials. Unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, PLA comes from nature and returns to nature.

It's one of the most popular sustainable materials used in 3D printing today, and it's what we use to create all of our organisers and storage solutions.

When properly composted in industrial facilities, PLA breaks down into natural elements — water, carbon dioxide, and biomass — leaving no toxic residue behind.

The Difference

PLA vs Traditional Plastics

Unlike petroleum-based plastics that take hundreds of years to decompose, PLA offers a sustainable alternative that's better for our environment.

Traditional Plastics

  • Made from petroleum (fossil fuels)
  • Takes 500-1000 years to decompose
  • Releases harmful chemicals
  • Non-renewable resource
  • Contributes to ocean pollution

PLA (What We Use)

  • Made from corn starch & sugarcane
  • Biodegradable in composting facilities
  • No toxic chemicals released
  • 100% renewable resource
  • Lower carbon footprint
From Nature

Made from Renewable Resources

🌽

Corn Starch

The primary ingredient in PLA comes from the starches found in corn, a renewable crop that can be regrown each season.

🌿

Sugarcane

Sugarcane is another plant-based source used to create the lactic acid that forms the building blocks of PLA plastic.

🌱

Tapioca Roots

Cassava or tapioca roots provide starch that can also be converted into PLA, offering another sustainable source.

Our Impact

Why It Matters

68% Less Carbon Emissions

PLA production generates significantly fewer greenhouse gases compared to traditional plastic manufacturing.

Fully Renewable

Unlike oil which takes millions of years to form, corn and sugarcane can be grown year after year, making PLA truly sustainable.

Non-Toxic & Safe

PLA doesn't release harmful chemicals during production or decomposition, making it safer for both people and the environment.

Biodegradable

In industrial composting conditions, PLA breaks down into natural elements within months, not centuries like traditional plastics.
